In October many of our parents had the opportunity to conference with their child's teacher and get an update as to where students are and where they need to be this time of year. We now have our official report cards go home on Nov. 19th. Kindergarten teachers are evaluating students one on one and others are having students take class assessments in order to provide an accurate account of where they are in relation to the standard.
Science update: Our science teacher, Ms. Segale, has a website called My Big Campus which allows students to interactively post and answer questions on the internet. Students seem to be engaged and attracted to this new form of learning.
New Technology: We have just made a large investment in new computers for the classroom as well as a set of Chrome books for 34 students which might be shared among several classrooms. Students today need to become proficient in the new technology in order to be prepared for the 21st century.
After School Program: As many of you know, Vicki Hallof, left our site to become the Assistant Pricipal at MacQuiddy School. WE have hired Jeff Bryant who will start this week in her place. We also have an assistant in the office, Sandra, who is bilingual and can help with many of your questions. We thank Ms. Dhesi and Ms. Bartolomei who helped in this transition period.

Radcliff Students Getting Fancy
Welcome Mr. Bryant RAP Coordinator
Please stop by Room A10 and introduce yourself to the new Site Coordinator for the Radcliff Afterschool Program (RAP), Jeff Bryant. Jeff comes to us from Rio Del Mar as a elementary teacher. Jeff has a lot to offer Radcliff and I know that you all will show him a warm Radcliff welcome.
A HUGE thank you to Ms. Dhesi for supervising the program in the interim while Jeff is closing out his classroom, and getting over to Radcliff. She has done an amazing job juggling teaching, going to school, and running the afterschool program. Thank you!
Also a big thank you to Ms. Bartolomei for covering when Ms. Dhesi had classes. All of you have done a great job keeping the program on target.
Finally, thank you to all the RAP staff who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the Radcliff students. They have not only kept the program running, but maintained behavior, fundraising, and keystone curriculum. You are all a great group of educators.
Welcome to Radcliff Mr. Bryant!
Our School Uniforms
These students are fantastic expamples of our school uniform! Don't forget our school colors are Green, White, and Khaki.
The Parking Lot
Student safety is one of our primary concerns. Vehicles are not allowed to stop for student drop-off or pick-up in the staff parking lot. Don't forget to always be patient with our traffic staff and each other. Please avoid texting or cell phone use while driving through the parking lot or in the school zone.
